Craftsman Inspired Cottage Remodel

This cottage sits on a sloping pie-shaped lot in the heart of deer country. The homeowner and I had a blast giving the place a makeover for HGTV's "Curb Appeal." We transformed the outside of the house by adding a new covered porch and deck. Then the driveway was replaced and the grass removed to make way for low water deer-tolerant perennials. Finally, mosaic tiles and new paint job added splashes of color throughout the design.
