Italianate Victorian Restoration

I could see the potential immediately when I saw this little house. At some point, most of the moldings had been removed and the shape of the windows had been changed. My goal was to recreate the facade as closely as possible to how it could have looked originally. I wanted the observer's eye to move around the whole facade from detail to detail, and no to reason on any one spot. I used a soothing color scheme comprised of five colors: a light green base, a cream trim, two different blue accents and gold details. It was an absolute joy to work on this project.
