A Touch of Bali in San Francisco

When Curb Appeal asked me to do this Bali inspired house I was excited to try something outside of the design realm that I'm used to. The owners fell in love with Balinese design when they honeymooned there. They wanted to bring that Island feeling to their 1940's home. I used a bold red color on the house to give a feeling of warmth. I chose stone and wood accents reminiscent of tropical gardens to complement the color scheme of the house. Plants with a tropical look, but not needing a tropical climate, completed the landscape.
